Treefort Music Fest pt.1: Artists

List of everyone I saw. They all rocked. I was going to bold my favorites, but I dug so much of this that it would be easier to bold my least favorites and that feels harsh. I took pictures of every band in the hopes of really being “scrapbooky” about this post, but unfortunately and unsurprisingly, the camera of my blackberry-ripoff-pseudo-smartphone isn’t at its best in a concert setting. I’m including the least shitty shots

Willa Mae-- First set of the fest! They were good, and Willa Mae herself had such a cool look.

Pink Fuzz— We saw them at the bandshell. Amazing visuals. Galactic, swirling, really complemented the music.

Toody Cole and Her Band— so sick! She was 77 years old and fucking rocking.

IMG_20260327_002328_812 JMSN— so weird? They were all bald (on purpose), and wearing grey long underwear. I’m posting a shitty picture so u can understand the experience. He's holding a cowbell.

Forty Feet Tall— I was too tired by this time of the night to jump into what was a pretty great pit, but had a good time regardless. The vocalist was an awesome performer.

Venus & The Flytraps

Initiate— The vocalist for this band looked like such a normal girl, but she ripped. They might be famous one day

lily seabird Lily Seabird— her spotify recordings are soft and beautiful, but live it was hard and beautiful.

Sextile-- women respond to bass

porches Porches— so good! They closed the set with Daddies, and I haven’t been able to stop listening since.

Sextile DJ Set

starya Starya

Cobrah

John Craigie— What to say? He’s so good live. Phil and I saw him a couple years ago playing solo, and it was great to see him with a band.

Fightmaster

bull market Bull Market— dividends secured

Ella Rae Cole— Gorgeous, gorgeous voice and a beautiful intimate set

geesew Geese

Liz Cooper

la witch L.A. Witch

Nightbrain

Wine Lips— Killer. Awesome way to close out the fest. Very enthusiastic crowd. Sunglasses.
